Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-03This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with aidubbing. It forms part of our Terms of Service. We enforce this policy to keep the service safe, lawful and available for everyone.
1. Prohibited content
You may not use aidubbing to create, translate, dub or distribute content that:
- infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent or other intellectual property right;
- violates the privacy or likeness rights of any person, including creating synthetic media of a real person without their consent;
- defames, harasses, threatens or impersonates any individual or organisation;
- is unlawful, defamatory, or incites violence, self-harm or hatred against a protected group;
- is sexually explicit involving minors, or exploitative in any way;
- promotes terrorism, organised violence, or the sale of regulated goods such as narcotics, weapons or firearms;
- promotes political disinformation or deliberately deceives the public about factual matters;
- constitutes financial, medical or legal advice presented as professional advice without the required licensing;
- is fraudulent, including fake engagement, forged documents or scam material.
2. Prohibited conduct
- No scraping or crawling. Do not use automated agents, scrapers or bots to extract content, probe the service, or bypass rate limits.
- No reverse engineering. Do not decompile, disassemble or attempt to extract source code, model weights or proprietary prompts.
- No credential sharing. Do not share, sell or resell account access, API keys or subscription capacity.
- No abuse of the credit system. Do not attempt to farm promotional credits, exploit refunds, or create accounts to circumvent limits.
- No interference. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, overload it with traffic, or probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- No unauthorised circumvention. Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, watermarking, or access controls.
- No misleading output. Do not present machine-generated translation as a certified human translation, or strip required disclosures.
3. Consent and likeness
You must have permission from every person whose voice, likeness or performance appears in content you process. Where a voice is cloned, you must be able to demonstrate that consent was obtained and is documented. We may ask for that documentation if we receive a complaint.
4. Automated enforcement
We use automated systems, including speech and text classifiers, to detect the content described above. Accounts may be limited, suspended or terminated without prior notice where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached.
5. Consequences
- Warning - a first-time minor breach where content was removed but there was no intent to cause harm.
- Feature restriction - access limited to core functionality, such as disabling on-screen text translation or batch processing.
- Suspension - access paused pending review. Unused paid credits remain available.
- Termination - access revoked for repeated or serious breaches. In this case no refund is due for the remaining term.
We aim to act proportionately. We will tell you why an action was taken unless doing so would be unlawful or would compromise other users.
6. Reporting abuse
Report content or conduct that breaches this policy to support@vozo.ai, or for security issues to security@vozo.ai. Include the project URL and a description of the issue.
7. Appeal
If you believe we took an action in error, reply to the notice we sent or write to support@vozo.ai. A different person reviews appeals.
8. Our rights
We may remove content, restrict processing, or disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the service, other users, or the public.
